Review Process

What we review: Our editorial team verifies the accuracy of numeric data — glycemic index values against the University of Sydney GI Database, nutrition values against USDA FoodData Central, and serving size conversions against USDA household measures. Every food page undergoes this data verification before publication.

What we do not review: We do not evaluate the medical appropriateness of any food for any individual. That is the role of a qualified healthcare professional who knows your medical history. Our data is a reference tool for informed discussions with your care team — not a substitute for those discussions.

Review frequency: Full data review quarterly. Individual corrections processed within 48 hours of verification. All estimated values (Tier 3-4) carry explicit labels. See our Corrections log for the complete change history.

Editorial independence: GlycemicWise has no commercial partnerships, sponsorships, or affiliate relationships that influence data presentation. We do not accept payment for food rankings or verdicts.

Content Boundaries

GlycemicWise provides dietary reference only. We do not: provide medical advice, recommend medication dosages, suggest treatment plans, or claim to replace healthcare professionals. Every page carries a disclaimer stating these boundaries.

Corrections

If you find an error in our data, please contact ivan.ffaann@outlook.com. We log all corrections and regenerate affected pages within 48 hours.
